Alka Sadat is an award-winning Afghan documentary filmmaker whose work explores war, social injustice, human rights, and the lives of people living through conflict. She co-founded Roya Film House with her sister, filmmaker Roya Sadat.

Roya Film House (RFH)
was founded in 2003 by sisters Roya Sadat and Alka Sadat. As Afghanistan’s first woman-led film company, RFH produces feature films, documentaries, and television series focused on women’s lives and social realities. read more
